Music
Wax Trax is in Denver and Boulder. It has the same name has the place in Chicago (featured in Pretty In Pink) but it is owned by different people. 13th and Washington. New and used evrything. Julian Cope mentioned the Denver store in his autobiography Head On. If you speak with the older gentleman that works in the vinyl store, he will tell you about the visit. Julian Cope won’t talk to you about it. He hates Americans.

How this place changed my life
I used to work here. It humbled me, I got to meet lots of musicians, and was exposed to music and film and art I’d never have experienced otherwise.

I love wax trax
Well, that says it all. I love wax trax. Greatest record store in Denver. And wax trax 2 sometimes has things worth buying, especially in the used section. My favorite though is across the trax, because they have awesome band and movie shirts and posters and pins and everything! It was pretty much the only store i bought clothes at… sadly though, they are now closed. Thats a bummer.

Great set of stores
Wax Trax is a great set of stores for buying music and other things. There is a solid selection of vinyl and CDs. Also, you can find weird movies and weird clothes. I always enjoy the visit!
