Ripley's Aquarium

Nothing spectacular and perhaps over priced but worth it so you can say you did…

An aquarium in the Smokey Mountains? Sounds crazy, but it works splendidly. I would definitly recommend checking out the Aquarium. Also, you can purchase a pass in Gatlinburg that gives you access to the Aquarium, Believe it or Not, and a Haunted House (All Ripley’s attractions in Gatlinburg). It’s a definite worthwhile package purchase for a tourist to spend a few hours :)

It was my first time visiting so I thought it was amazing. I loved seeing the Divers swimming with the sharks and fish.

I love all aquariums—and this one was no different. The sharks are the best! And, this aquarium is unique in that you get conveyer belt type thing (like it airports) and go up under the tanks and see the fish on the bottom. That’s mostly where you see the sharks, so make sure you do that part! You can also touch the baby sharks and sting rays!

It sucks compared to the same Aquarium in South Carolina. Don’t go unless you haven’t been to one of Ripley’s other aquariums in other states. You’ll be disappointed.
