Wanaka

Arrived in Wanaka during the summer for a one night stay on the Kiwi Experience bus – nice place. Chilled on the beach then went to Cinema Paradiso – cool place.

Ended up spending quite a bit more time in Wanaka putting up Marquees over summer, and plan to nip back once the ski season kicks off.

I thought I’d arrived in heaven when I saw the sun setting over the lake after a long drive down that day from Christchurch via Franz Jozef.

My ideal place to live in New Zealand.

im so happy to be back.

i lived in wanaka last winter season, and i crave to be back there! i miss the snow, i miss boarding, i miss the mountains, and most of all, i miss the vibe that everyone carries with them in wanaka! i can wait 6 months for the snow, but only because i will be bathing around in Australias whitsundays national park.

no complaining here- from the best of NZ to the best of OZ, and back again :)
