Bodrum Castle

I think..if I remember correctly that there is an archaeological museum in it. I went years ago on a school trip and one of our teachers got us a “behind the scenes” tour. It was awesome. I saw artifacts that I’d seen previously in National Geographic.

It’s original name is Castle of St. Peter, and its origins goes back to Knights of St. John, a group of expatriates who drew their ranks from Europe. The Crusades.

Currently its used as a storeroom for underwater findings from several recent shipwreck excavations.
