The first time I went to this place
was to feed some of the many many pigeons there. I was terrified! Some people would pour bird seed into their hand and hold it out towards the frenzy of pigeons. As for me – I chucked it as far away from me as possible!
You’re surrounded here by some wonderful buildings – St. Martin’s in the Fields, the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery. And just a few minutes walk away you’ll be in the heart of Theatreland.

Be sure to check out the latest installation....
on the Fourth Plinth. In Jun of 2007 Marc Quinn’s controversial sculpture”Alison Lapper Pregnant” when she was 7 months pregnant with her child. I thought it was quite beautiful. She’s a famous UK artist and author. See her website to learn more
about this resilient and talented artist in her own right.

Japanese school girls
I remember going up there when I was about 13 and seeing a group of 10 Japanese school girls screaming at the top of their lungs while being chased by about 50 pidgeons.
That was (and still is) the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
