Swain Ski And Snowboard Resort

Swain is where I learned to ski. It’s where I learned to race, and the only place I’ve tried snowboarding. It’s a tiny ski area on a hill (rather than a mountain), but it’ll always have a special place in my heart. Our high school used to take trips there with ski club every Friday. The toughest hill is Last Will, and it may be a double black diamond right now. It used to get pretty bumped up, but in recent years, I don’t think there has been enough snow to get it that way. Last Will is quite narrow as well, so a nice challenge for locals, but a joke for serious skiers.
