Write an entry Entries about this placeUntitled by MFMTook the Metra into Chicago today and walked from Union Station to Millenium Park then walked up Michigan Avenue to the Hancock Tower and back down the other side – MAGNIFICENT. We shopped and ate and laughed and walked a ton. OK – I should probably say grazed because we had a bit of chocolate at Moonstruck , 1 steamed bun at Wow Bao , lunch at Bistro 110 and a handful of popcorn from Garrett’s Another fabulous vacation day. over 5 years agoUntitled by danimatianMagnificent Mile is technically not in River North, however, many River North places are listed on the Mag Mile website, which I used to enter in a bunch of restuarants and bars. Therefore instead of reporting a problem with entries and having them moved out of Mag Mile into River North or Streeterville, I think we should leave them in. Also Mag Mile should stay within River North because of that crossover of places. Also, some straight up Streeterville places are here under Mag Mile as well, let’s leave the food and drink places as well as artsy fartsy galleries and museums in here. Where the drunken haze of the Mag Mile ends, no one knows for sure, but damnit it’s not even a mile long anyways so it can be thicker on the sides… My starting point for entries was http://themagnificentmile.com Dining & Nightlife section.
