Aberdeen is good if you’re going to be here for fast food and maybe a soda, then leave.

Seriously, get out while you still can.

I did the pilgrim thing as well, on a very indirect driving route from Milwaukee to San Francisco (from 94 to 90 to 5 to the 101). It was pretty bleak and depressing in that relatively-isolated-small-town kinda way, but I loved it anyway.

but this when Kurt was still alive. The place reminded me of Chirk, where I grew up.
