Best Disney Theme Park on Earth!

I went a few months back and had a great time. I have a detailed trip report with photos and video here: www.dearscotty.com/2007/11/30/tokyo-disneyland-and-disneysea/

A review of this place

I was actually pretty impressed with Disneysea… being an adult, it was much more fun. Kinda of romantic if your on a date, and the rides at Disneyland aren’t exactly exciting anyway, so I wasn’t disappointed with the lack of rides. Fun day out, wear sunscreen and get ready to do a lot of waiting. Best day to go is when there’s light rain… no lines.

The more "mature" Disney park

DisneySea seems to be designed with more adult visitors in mind. Lots of paths and spaces to stroll, less kiddy rides, and you can buy alcoholic beverages there. Of course, that makes it far less popular than its older sister park. That works out well for you because waits are minimal!
When I went, we ran out of rides we wanted to go on and ended up doing some multiple times. That was before the new coaster and Tower of Terror opened, so I definitely want to go back.

More adult and high-tech

than the original Disneyland. I enjoyed the water theme. The Twenty Thousand Leagues ride and Temple of Doom were amazing. My younger daughter got a thrill out of the Little Mermaid show. So much to do. It deserves a full day… or two!

It’s the Disneyland for grown ups! Lots of beautiful shows. Best show : Ariel’s Under The Sea Theater. Bravo!
