the best bit is the garden/ entrance hall -realy beautiful on a sunny morning

Their collection is really nice, but since the staff kept on harrasing us and repeatingly telling the kids to be quite, eventhough they didn’t make much noise (and certainly didn’t touch anything), the whole experience was very unpleasant. After having been told off on a number of times the kids almost started to cry so we decided to leave. As we were about to leave my sister realized she forgot something she bought in the souvenir shop and had to go back to get it. Upon turning back she was immediately followed by three guards that in a hostile way approached and checked her out.

Worth noticing is that we were just a very normal family with two kids and their aunt visiting (and paying for) this museum. We don’t wear weird clothing, do drugs, or ignore our hygiene. However, we do not ever want to go back to this place.

It’s a beautiful place and I love the basement with the mummies.
