The Essential Bakery Café

These are probably the least interesting looking item in the display case. But if you’ve ever eaten one….OMG! they’re addicting! I make it a habit to stop here whenever I’m within 3-5 miles of this bakery! Wish Burien had a bakery that made wonderful artisan breads.

My boyfriend and I went here one time when Cafe Flora was closed. We had the crepes with bechamel, mushrooms, and spinach. They were really good. I also had a snickerdoodle, which was decent, and an earl grey truffle, which was pretty good. I took home a loaf of sweet potato pecan bread that didn’t really impress me. I’d go back for those crepes though.
