The Dakota

I stood outside the doorway where Lennon was shot a few weeks ago. It was chilling. I wonder what went through the mind of MDC on that day. I wonder why he did what he did and why he took this wonderful man from us. I wonder what John would have created in the 80s and I wonder how the world might be just a little bit brighter if he had. I wonder these things and I weep, although I didn’t know him personally, I loved him and I miss him dearly.

last time i was in NYC (xmas 05) my mother and i walked over to the Dakota/Strawberry Fields because in all our years of visiting Manhattan we had never been…..anyway, we are standing outside of the Dakota talking about John and whatnot, when who comes strolling out of the entrance but Sean Lennon!!!!

everything!!! we were absolutely in shock, it was like seeing a ghost. i’ll never forget that day.

THEN THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT GOING IN FRONT OF THIS BUILDING, LOCATED ALONG CENTRAL PARK WEST. TO KNOW YOKO STILL LIVES THERE, AND THAT JOHN PASSED AWAY HERE IS SOMETHING I CANT QUITE EXPLAIN. IF YOUR EVER DOWN THAT WAY. CHECK OUT THE DAKOTA AND ACROSS THE STREET, STOP BY STRAWBERRY FIELDS.
