Go Kent State! by Emma
KSU is a great school. This is my third year, and I still love it like I did the very first day.

It means that you grew up in the town that your university is in. It means that – unlike most of your schoolmates – you haven’t pulled up roots. It’s been six years since I moved away from Kent. I grew up there, and lived there for 26 years before moving away to another country. If destiny had played out differently, I could see myself still living there. It’s a place with depth, history, a culture all its own, and interesting things around every corner. On stressful days I picture myself strolling along the shore of Plum Creek, or watching the squirrels on Front Campus. I may have been a “townie,” but I still love the place deeply, and I’m proud of where I came from. Worth visiting… indeed. over 5 years agocollege town.. and nothing more by quixar4kidsSo, the town of Kent has 29,000 residents. Kent State University has 25,000 students and 3,000 faculty and staff. What else is there to say? All there is in Kent is the school and restaurants.. over 5 years agoI grew up here! by emalcarI still go there about once or twice a week. My boyfriend lives there for now. It’s in a nice part of Ohio. There’s a lot to do if you know where to look. over 5 years ago |
