BAM aka: Brooklyn Academy of Music

The first time I went to BAM, it was a school trip and we watched Lion King.

The cinema is great; you can go see non-mainstream films without trekking to Manhattan.

BAM is a pleasant place to go. The staff is nice, the building is pretty, they always have great cultural events happening and the Cinema and esp the Cinematek shows great films. And Rocky’s Deli across the way makes cheap, standard sandwiches that are for some reason so satisfying.
