Dunnottar Castle

I haven’t been to all the castle ruins yet but I’d like to try. So far this place is the coolest. My daughter had a great time exploring all the different passages and rooms, me too. We got some great shots from the bluff to the right on the way in. We found alot of shells and crabs at the beach. The views are incredible.

Impressive. Excellent place to pass the day – in the castle, on one of the two beaches beside it, or walking along the cliffs.

Impressive castle on a high point overlooking the ocean, just a short walk outside Stonehaven.

Four pounds to get in which is a bit steep considering that there is very little here but the views are amazing and the location is very gothic. Keep plenty of puff for the walk back up the stone staircase.
