The best camping ever!
Hiked in to the beach here about 10 years ago. The tide was in so we were climbing up these rope ladders to get over the bluffs. What an amazing experience. Primitive camping area – no toilets, no clean water, no electricity. Beautiful views, lots of privacy. Pitch your tent right on the beach. I will go back one of these days!

Rialto Beach, Olympic National Park
Rialto Beach is on the west coast of Washington State on the Olympic Penninsula. It is part of Olympic National Park. The beach access starts at the south end of the beach, just north of the La Push harbor (but note, the road to La Push is NOT the road to Rialto. The road splits a few miles inland.) Huge washed up trees line the sandy souther part of the beach. Northwards sea stacks dot the shallows, great tidepools at low tide, and forest hugs the upper reaches of the beach. At the northern portion of the beach backpacking camping is allowed, all the way to “hole in the wall” – an archway you can pass through at low tide. On the other side, the trail continues northward.
