Did the brewery tour today...spoiler alert, don't read if you don't want to know!
It was a little smaller than I expected, but the tour was quite humourous and informative.
I was happy and intrigued to discover it was inspired by the 1986 mets world series win, as well as by the owner’s time living in the middle-east where beers were made as home-brews, due to Islmamic prohibitions on alcohol. Also, the logo was inspired by the Brooklyn dodgers logo, and designed by a guy in exchange for a share in the company and a lifetime supply of beer. Oops, hope I didn’t give away too much
I didn’t drink anything though, 4 in the afternoon is a little early for me to start!
Apparently their bottled beers are brewed upstate, it is only the kegs brewed in Brooklyn.

Just went today for one of their Saturday afternoon brewery tours. The best part was the $3 beers afterwards. I had the Belgian Blanche and it was delicious!

Why I recommend this place to locals
Their Friday night happy hours are great. $3 drafts in their cafeteria space. Goes until 11ish. Bring your own food, games, friends. Make your own fun.

Well, since they make some of my favorite beers, I must visit the brewery on my upcomming trip to N.Y.
They even invite you there on some of their packages.
