Scunthorpe

I am going to go and see my friends who are over here from Denmark. They were in Blackburn for 4 days so I am going to go and see them tomorrow for two days before they fly back to Denmark next week. I won’t get to see them again until November so this is the last chance for me to see them.

Scunthorpe is actually really going up in the world. Not only is the football team (The Iron) getting much better, the town itself has undergone a lot of changes in the past 5 years. There are now more shops worth visiting, and it’s really cleaned up it’s act as far as violence etc goes. I haven’t even seen a fight in years let alone been scared i’d be in one. The 20 21 art gallery is a cultural fix for those that want it. and the UCI cinema is fantastic with huge seats and plenty of room. It’s not a fantastic place you’d drive for miles to see.. but as of any other town of it’s size, its worth sticking around in.
