Sunningdale

I’ve never been to a more boring place in my life. There is nothing to do around there. I went to two sub-standard restaurants and missed the comfort of good food service at home (the U.S.).

Also, I don’t know who started the rumor that the British serve “proper” tea because every last cup of tea I had was from a tea bag marked “Twinings” – the very same kind you purchase in a grocery store over here.

I was so glad to get back home. I’ll never visit England again if I can help it.

Lovely quiet Berkshire village. Lived here for about six months before I emigrated to California. Lots of nice walks, and the weather gets pretty good in the summer too (but then, I’m Scottish, so most places seem to have good weather to me).
