Old Trafford

Well, not just football in the winter. Seeing my Aussies thrash the English cricket team here is high on my list of events to see.

Home of the Red Devils! That’s the only reason to visit the grounds where Eric Cantona & Ryan Giggs used to play on :) Plus, the bonus would be a chance to catch a glimpse of Christiano Ronaldo or Rooney.

I spent this past June in Manchester and one of the things I did was visit old trafford football grounds and it was so cool! I’ve never been in such a huge stadium before. I went on a tour of the grounds that lasted an hour and a half or so, and we got to see everything – the locker rooms, the press confrence room, everything. It was really cool. I don’t get an opportunity to watch any Man United games here in the states, but I definetly walked away from the game being a Man United fan!

What can you say. One of the places i’ve been dreaming about all my life. And it was all i’ve ever imagined and more. If you go there before a game, be sure not to miss spending a couple of hours at The Bishops Blaze. It’s the pub next to the stadium, you need to have a match ticket to get in, but the atmosphere is unbelievable but you need to be there early to get in. Better than in the stadium actually.

Yes bin here! Great atmosphere especially if Man U is winning. Won a competion to see a game there and have bin hooked ever since.

I’ve seen my team on their US Tour and whatnot, but nothing would be the same as seeing them at home. I want to be there in the best atmosphere: match day and watch the best football team in the world play.
