Sherbrooke

I was here for a week, during spring, it was an interesting place. Something peculiar about the entire place though is that it was very separated… like you had little regions cut off into peices, with 10-15 minutes of nothing in between. It seems the entire town is composed of smaller ‘village’ like components. Universite de Sherbrooke is pretty cool tho. In my entire time I heard two English words (not in the university, or the hotel I was in) Buh-bye! Very French place… however, the people seem pretty friendly! :)

I really don’t know whether this place is worth visiting or not. The people I came in contact with either did not speak English or refused to speak English to me. I strongly suspected the latter. So, I had a huge communication problem. Anyway, I finally gave up and left.

après 3 ans de bac, pas encore sûre que j’aime la ville, mais bon, j’imagine que ça vaut une visite pareil.. ;P

I have been to Sherbrooke with my family. Out intent was to shop. I believe there was an Au Coton store or something of that nature in a strip mall of some kind.
I do know that I have been there on several occassions. All for shopping if my recollection isn’t failing.
