Why I recommend this place to visitors  — 1 week ago

    Worth visiting!

I think that this is probably one of the less-visited parks for tourists. It’s lovely to walk through here rather than along the traffic-choked Euston Road – at lunchtime there’ll be office workers having their lunch or jogging whilst squirrels whisk up and down trees.

    Worth visiting!

I lived a block south of this park for a semester abroad. This park is lovely. It’s a great escape from the big city. Especially if the rose garden is in bloom go for a visit.
I miss this place so much!
It was a lovely place to pass through on the way to Camden market!

The gardens are beautiful and the plays in the park are perfect for a summer evening!

    Worth visiting!

    From 15 July 1996:
Regent’s Park is lovely. There’s a tiny lake and then a long stretch of water like a canal, and the water birds are in abundance. Tons of Canada geese and other geese and swans and lots of duck types. Quite a few of them had babies and some were still all fluffy, bobbing about on top of the water like little fuzzy corks, their tiny feet a-paddling away.

It’s quite a big park and took me a good 20-25 minutes or more to walk along the west side heading south and then along the south side, before leaving it.

[Also, Regent’s Park is where the owners of the 101 dalmatians lived!]
