Hotel California

According to the song, you check in, but you can never leave!

I went to school at California State University Channel Islands. It was formerly Camarillo State Hospital, long rumored to be “Hotel California” of Eagles fame (due to album artwork/photography, taken at Camarillo State Hospital: Hotel California).

If REALLY want to go here, you can apply to be a student! (I’m mostly kidding, but hey, you never know!) Certainly that wasn’t my motivation for attending, but I’ll admit that every single time I walked into the Belltower building, I would sing “Welcome to the Hotel California…. such a lovely place…”

This could be Heaven or this could be Hell…
