I still remember hanging out in the middle of the night, going in to the record shop to peruse the goods.

I remember sleeping in the Hotel Tokyo one night, after I’d been paid for the day labor.

I was serving up at the wholesale grocers' warehouse a week ago Wednesday.  That kind of thing amkes you appreciate that life is a gift, a favour, that is not ours to keep for all eternity.
