Martinsburg

Historic place for Civil War and railroad buffs.

Martinsburg is an alright town and all, and as someone else already stated we have an alright music scene, I go to a show almost every weekend, but as far as much to do there isn’t much, I guess it just depends where you come from, but I’ve experienced much better places, and can’t wait to move somewhere other then here after school.

I worked part of a summer at a camp around nearby Hedgesville and whenever an escape from campgrounds was possible, Martinsburg was a super place to go.

Sampled a number of restaurants, got my SS#, visited a doctor and a pharmacy, and, after bonding with a bunch of new friends over a flat tire, visited a garage. I also was at the Salvation Army here and at the park (the one with the pool and concert shell) where we relaxed and performed. And of course, they have a Walmart! I have never been so pleased to have a Walmart within reach! :)

So, Martinsburg passes the test for me! :)
