Frankly, there is very few to see. The Caminito is infested by tourists, and therefore by “tourist eaters”. You feel like being a walking purse most of the time. The place has lost most of its charm. Except to see a match in la Bombonera, which is really increible, I would not recommend to go there…
This is only a place you are supposed to go.
There are places much more authentic than this one in Buenos Aires

I think they did a good job at making it touristy.

Most visitors only need to spend about two hours in Boca. Don’t stray away from the touristy areas. Don’t spend too much money on the overpriced touristy stuff either. Do visit the Quinquela Martin museum and learn about a great Argentine painter who lived in Boca and came up with the idea to paint the buildings bright colors. Of course, futbol fans must find their way to the stadium. Non-sports fans can satisfy themselves with picturesque photos of the area.
