Nice enough, the popovers are very tasty. Note to the wise: it can get really crowded in the summer, but you can make reservations! If you don’t want to wait ages for a seat on the lawn (has a great view, worth it) call ahead and see if you can reserve a spot. Of course, if you just show up you will still get seated pretty quickly, just maybe not on the lawn.

Mount Desert Island High School holds their Senior Prom here ever year. Having gone last year it’s wonderful.

You really should not go to Acadia without checking this place out. It is the only restaurant in the park. You can drive or hike up and there is a little walking trail around the pond if you are so inclined. They have afternoon tea and popovers – yum!
