Paestum

Paestum is a good place to see some fairly well preserved, and large, temples. It doesn’t take a lot of time (maybe and hour) and is perfect way to finish the day.

I’ve lived and traveled all over Italy and this was the most amazing place I visited. Its hard to get to, and very few people speak English there, but its also one of the few places in Italy without any tourists. This alone is incredibly awesome because its beaches are just as nice as the more crowded ones in the rest of southern Italy, but more importantly it has some of the best preserved Greek temples in the world.
