Castiglion Fiorentino

This was my favorite stop during my trip to Italy. Absolutely breathtaking!

there have probably been thousands of students to pass through this little town as part of their study abroad program. i was with the first group to live there, and it was a beautiful and warm place. it is a tiny town on a hill surrounded by farms. the people were friendly and welcoming, we were made to feel like locals. i don’t know if it will still feel like this after years of changing students, but the school itself (in an old convent) was beautiful too.
