Snohomish

There were a lot of things flying and floating around in the air of this town. It’s proximity to Seattle, along with the mix of scenic rivers and valleys with good weather and uncontrolled air space make it a prime place for hanging out in the air, as we did this last weekend at The Airial Balloon Company.

Ah, near and dear to my heart. It’s an old time town but well kept! People are proud of their old homes and stores. First street has a lot of antique shops and this is what Snohomish is well known for. It is known as the “Antique capital of the Northwest.”

Lived here for a bit and roll through town quite often. Lots of antique stores. My personal faves as far as stores are Uppercase Books and that little British candy/tea shop :) Corn maze is definitely worth it during fall and the Centennial Trail is great during summer!

A cute little town full of antique stores, boutiques and good palces to eat. As an afternoon treat, stop by Mrs. Penycook’s Tea room for high tea or a luncheon.
