This place holds so many memories for me! They arcade is always changing. Once was the Airtight Garage and is now a Tilt, the neat gadget store they got rid of a long time ago. The Starbucks. The theater. The gardens is a nice place to relax and if you walk farther down there’s a bowling ally, a playground and an ice skating rink.

My favorite place in all of SF is the roof of this place. Its amazing to look out at night.

My son and I went to the Metreon yesterday – we took BART into the city, got off on Powell, and walked the short distance to this big center. The Metreon itself . . . meh. It’s okay, but probably not anywhere I’d make a point to come just for itself. Although the LongLife noodle restaurant where I had my lunch was VERY good. But the rest of it is pretty much regular shops and a big cinema. Nothing exciting.

But if you’re in the area, and are even remotely interested in the Titanic, GO SEE THE EXHIBIT. It’s fantastic! My favourite parts were a reconstruction of the grand staircase, and the 15-ton piece of HULL brought up from the bottom of the ocean. It’s hard for me to put into words just how incredible this exhibit was. Definitely worth a visit.

My son and I want to see the exhibit on the Titanic which is on display there right now.

I LOVE the Metreon. So much nifty stuff, and lots of video games. Video games nerds should really check out the Metreon. Plus there’s DDR! Yay!

Um…the theatre? Never been there. The shops? Didn’t know there were any. But the GAMES!
