Tralee aka: Trá Lí

If you go to Tralee in August you might be able to catch the Rose of Tralee! It’s an international Irish contest finding the Rose of Tralee [based on the poem Rose of Tralee]. It takes over the entire town and it’s a week long event. There have a carnival and a parade and each contestant has their own bar as their home base. All over Ireland people pick their favorites and root them on. It’s a blast! My sister was the Rose of Tralee from Southern California in 2000.

I would love to go back!

Its very commercial ireland, which is somewhat annoying, but i still put it as worth visiting, because any place in ireland is worth visiting :)
