A review of this place: One of the top 5 things to do in this country
7 hour epic Lost world adventure, where you abseil down into this incredible cave system, and swim, climb and crawl your way out. Beyond amazing. And since I was wearing a thick wetsuit which held a lot of water while I was climbing and walking, I was unbelievably sore all over for the next 2 days. Some level of fitness is required.

Waitomo caves
I went here with my family when i was a child, it is an awesome place to take children. I was fascinated by the glow worms, until my uncle jumped out at me from behind the rocks, dont ever do that to a child in a cave… not cool. the boat ride is amzing

Why I recommend this place to visitors
This is pretty cool. You can’t see all that much in the cave but the glow worms are cool.

A MUST IF YOU ARE IN NZ
AMAZING.
When people say there is no words to describe how it was. This is it. I can’t put words to just how much in awe I was.
What I did: Took the Epic tour. Abseiling down 139 meters in to a cavern, afterwards squirming through nicks n crannies to a twinkle lit glowworm infesting cave. There we had lunch and proceeded to explore more of the cave and finally was led outside to the jurassic NZ bush. AWESOME
