Logan

The scenery here just can’t be beat — I attended by chance, as it were, for an academic writing conference in 1996, and I’m very glad I did so. The views from the city itself were quite something, but being able to go up into the surrounding hills and mountains, as I was for a bit here and there, was deeply impressive, and memories of the skyline remain with me to this day. I’d love to return.

Logan is a peaceful town with many different places to go and things to see. I recomend that anyone going here should at least drive past the temple and visit the mall.

While not exactly a tourist town I’ve really enjoyed living in Logan. There are some great hikes up the canyons (Logan Canyon and Green Canyon). I’ve enjoyed the beautiful Logan Temple. Then there’s the little things like free samples of cheese curds and bread made locally. There is an opera house I look forward to going to someday, too. Because of Utah State University, there are often activities and shows being put on here. Small town feel but not totally deserted. It’s also fairly close to skiing and Bear Lake!
