University Of Missouri - Columbia

Just like the city itself (and, by the way, college towns do have the best atmosphere), the campus is only so-so. It’s like any other campus. The reason I say it is worth visiting is for its new recreation center. I have never seen anything quite like it, and I recommend taking a tour. I considered a job there just for the fitness facilities. ;-)

I was born and raised here in Columbia, Missouri, home of the University of Missouri. It’s a great city that’s growing rapidly with lots to do and fun, genuine, and nice people. I also attended the UM-C for one semester and had a great time. I’d like to go back someday.

Definitely visit if you are considering going to Mizzou. Meet the students, faculty, even some alumni if you can. Get a good range of other people’s experiences to help make your decision for whether this is the school for you. Go to http://www.missouri.edu for additional information.
