Tuolumne Meadows

This was my favorite place in Yosemite. We went hiking for hours and it could only have been better if we had been prepared to keep hiking and set up camp for the night. The air, water, meadows, grasses are all so pristine and quiet. We didn’t see too many other people and at times it felt like we had discovered the land we were walking on.

What a beautiful place. I was there on a stormy afternoon in August 2005. It was dark and felt really magical.

ive lived in the small town of tuolumne and its defintily changed from how it used to be. now theres a casino and theyre planning on building all these houses and golf course, yada yada yada. tuolumne is cute and the houses are all getting fixed up. the secret hiking spots are amazing. everything is beautiful and it feels great to escape from the city. its like a little knook in the busy world. the wild flowers, blue sky, little farmers market, cool summer nights, staying out tell dusk, what more could you want?
