Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

Spent some time in Minneapolis over New Years a couple years ago. It was beautiful, and I can’t imagine how nice it is in the summer!

I don’t get the spoon with a cherry in it, but there was a couple having their wedding picture taken in front of it when I was here. There are a few really wonderful pieces in this place — be sure to wander around. Also, make sure you go in the greenhouse to see the giant carp and the hibiscus.

Everytime I go here I notice something new. It is a fun place to go, especially in a group. Take lots of pictures and make sure you have time to read all of the benches!

When I visited, my friend told me it is a local habit of new couples to have sex in the spoon with the cherry.

This place is fun to go to even in the dark because the sculptures look different.
