I lived there

I loved walking down mainstreet and knowing so many people. Waving and saying “Hi”..it was a happy little town.

Worth visiting!

Been for High Sierra, but prefer the town

I’ve been to the High Sierra Music Festival the last few years. Fun, but I usually end up spending more time in the small town of Quincy, CA. It’s a nice area and I like the town for a weekend of putzing around. Two good diners and a downtown strip that you can walk in 5 minutes. There’s good walking and hiking areas near town—plus some great river swimming.
