After less than a day on the island, I completely understood why they don’t let anyone move to the island.

I went here for a marine ecology course with my school, and it was the best week in my life. We stayed in St. George’s, but we visisted everywhere. This is one of the most beautiful, unique, and wonderful places in the world.

Went with a man that is now just another in a long line of exes, but man what a pretty place Bermuda is. I really liked the colorful houses if not the “pink” beaches.

It was absolutely beautiful. The perfect travel destination for the two of us. Just the right amount of time to get everything done and see all of the touristy sites too. There’s so much to do and so many awesome things to see.

I think this is a one time place for me. It was beautiful, but not much to do…The cruise had more stuff to do. The sight-seeing is great though I do recomend it esp. if you like water =)

Was stayed at the Elbow Beach Resort and it was an amazing week. We rented scooters for 2 days and took the public bus the other days. From the moment we stepped off the plane, we had nothing but a great time. Bermudians are the most warm and friendly people I have ever met. I will definitely be returning – hopefully for an even longer stay!
p.s., this is a photo I took on our last day, just before we headed off to the airport.

BERMUDA IS MY FAVORITE PLACE ON EARTH! I LIVE IN NYC AND I HAVE BEEN ALL AROUND THE WORLD. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A RELAXING, STRESS FREE CRIME FREE VACATION AREA THEN THIS IS IT. PINK SAND BEACHES, UNBELIEVABLE RESTURANTS AND THE FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE I EVER MET. HORSESHOE BAY IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN THE WORLD. HAMILTON BERMUDA IS FULL OF GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SHOPPING WHILE ST GEORGES IS CALMER AND MORE RELAXED. DONT LEAVE BERMUDA WITHOUT GOING TO ACHILEES BAY. THIS IS A QUITE BEACH THAT IS VERY PRIVATE AND ROMANTIC.

The people were so nice. I’m 16 I never got carded. Its the home of Goslings Black Seal Rum. If your gonna go to bermuda you HAVE to get a Dark n Stormy. Probably my favorite drink ever. Everything is pretty expensive tho. Theres an awesome tattoo artist, alex, from new york who does tattoos in Hamilton. This is like my favoite place. I want to move here eventually.

Bermudians are some of the most friendly, laid-back people in the world, they are what really make Bermuda wonderful although the gorgeous beaches, great weather, and historical buildings are major pluses. I travelled to Bermuda on a Royal Caribbean cruise that stopped in St. George and Hamilton which I would recommend. I would also recommend spending sometime walking around and look at all the neat buildings (including many churches) and parks. Bermuda is very clean and has strict regulations for cars so it could be a good option for people that are sensetive to air quality. In St. George my favorite stop was the Unfinished Church its quite beautiful. While stopped in Hamilton we took a bus to the Crystal Caves which have an underground lake, which is worth the trip.

My dad had this opportunity to move here for a job, and we took it. I guess my parents thought this would be an ideal place to live, warm like Florida, etc. However I can’t emphasize enough, that it’s a nice place to visit but it wasn’t nice living their and not being a citizen.
I was a child so I didn’t understand a lot of things, but I wasn’t allowed to play outside after a certain time, and I remember that we had to have permission to be out in the town on the weekends. We weren’t allowed to be on the beace, but my dad did sneak us on there one time and we had some ice cream. That was a short, but great memory.
I also had a bad experience with my teacher, whom I now believe caused me to have extreme anxiety in school and social situations. It’s a story for another time.
Beautiful place, bad experience.
