LaGuardia Airport aka: LGA

The last time I was at LGA, I had to spend the night there because our plane got delayed and delayed and finally canceled at 1am. We were booked on the next flight out at 6am and the local hotels were booked solid. They herded us out of the terminal and recommended we wait in a food court a few terminals down. Not something I ever want to do again…

Much more convenient than JFK, especially with the M60 express bus!

worth visiting if you’re in the nyc/northern new jersey and don’t want to deal with the traffic going to jfk or newark. got love for all airports.

I used to LOVE the airport when I was younger. My dad worked with the airlines and we would fly places on standby so when we had a trip, we’d expect to wait around the airport for hours. I used to run around, read everything in the magazine shops, watch the airplanes and talk to people. It was something I did at least once a month.

Only now I’ve grown up and gotten jaded and I think airports are SO OBNOXIOUS and I HATE the nasty btchy people that work there and hate waiting for airplanes, and baggage, and weird random airport bums who try to hit on me, ect…. it’s all very nightmarish.
