The first time I went to this place  — 7 months ago

Since I was in Ft. Lee, NJ on a whim decided to walk accross the bridge on a clear night. Beautiful views but very cold and windy. Wish I had brought my camera. Only saw 3 other people crossing. Once I got to the other side into Manhattan, the subway station for the A train was one block away. There are security guards at both entrances and is closed to pedestrians from 12am to 6am.

Worth visiting!

I got stuck on this bridge in a snow storm. It took me hours to get across it and then I ended up because of the weather turning around and heading back north. It was awful!

why would anyone specifically WANT to go here? it’s just a bridge. eh. it’s pretty from afar i guess, but when you’re actually ON it, it’s nothing spectacular.

Worth visiting!

I thought the George Washington Bridge was so long that it was spanning the ocean or something. I guess we were stuck in traffic?
