Grand Re-Opening by Megan
My friend Monica works next door, so we head over tonight for the reopening party. The story I heard is that a year or two ago the owners sold the restaurant to a family that kind of let the place go over time, then the original owners rebought it, so tonight was to celebrate their renewed ownership.
I have only good things to say about maitai’s and pupu’s on platters, which turned out to be pieces of Ahi tuna, chicken wings, and ribs-in case there was any wondering as to what pupu’s actually are. I’m not sure I’d be as enthusiastic after happy hour, when the maitai’s are $8 a pop, but at $4 they were well worth it.
