The buffet at this place is amazing. Probably the best I ever had, but a bit pricey ($40)!

Was Jan 19, 2008. We met the other two couples we went to Vegas with there. They were seeing a show there, we saw a show at the Mirage.

I booked this room 2 months ahead for Memorial weekend. When i got there the rooms were all booked and I had to wait for someone to check. They said they would call me when the room is available. I waited for 1 1/2 hrs and see other gets their room. I walked up to another clerk and she said that she would give me another available room in the hotel. When I get in to the room. It was nice and all, but then the AC was out. Called house keeping and they did not fix it until 10 pm when it is 90s degree outside. I took off for the show, came back and took a shower, the bathroom stall clogged and flooded the whole bathroom, I ended up putting all the towels on the floor to dry it. I complained to them and all they gave me was some discount to the room. This is not a 5 stars 5 diamonds hotel I expected to stay at. I would not come back there again, it was a waste of my money. Room # was 1764. If other people have the same experience can respond to this.

Steve Wynn's Art Collection by Elderbear is subverting the dominant paradigm.

is phenomenal. We got to tour his gallery and stand inches away from Picassos, Warhols, and a delightful Vermeer. Wynn narrated the tour and it was obvious that he had quite a passion for his paintings.

I understand he’s had to sell some off and that the gallery is now closed.

Without that, the Wynn isn’t as interesting.

“So, what is there to do inside the Wynn? I remember walking through it and thinking "Wow, this place is really gorgeous!" But all I could see to do was sit at a fairly normal looking bar and drink.” over 6 years ago
