Definitely not the poor man's Stonehenge

...as some guidebooks would have you believe. These stones are beautiful, and their setting only makes them more fascinating.

Biking from Storonoway

I biked to this ring of standing stones one rainy Sunday from Storonoway, Isle of Harris. Beautiful, erie, and totally accessible (or at least it ws in 1984, when I was there.) Take a picnic lunch, a bottle of wine, a friend and enjoy the trip as much as the destination!
