Great city. Lots of fun.

We ate in some cafe and this drag queen was doing a dance in line and told us about some good places to go to, she was really friendly.

I can understand why some people don’t want to be that camp and just want to live an everyday life, but for those that do, it’s entertaining for the rest of us, so yay!

In November, 2006, I was in West Hollywood to compete in the Million Dollar Round of AOL’s Gold Rush.

As it were. My experience here mostly consists of going to various clubs for shows and noting which are the flashier gay dance clubs around as we drive by. Then there was the time I was at dinner with Jason Pierce of Spiritualized. He likely was somewhat under the influence at the time.

As a gay midwestern transplant, West Hollywood was one of the things that lured me to Los Angeles. It took me 5 years to finally work my way up to living here (the rent is about 5 times more than what someone from the midwest would be used to paying) but I definitely love it. I like being able to walk to many differnt bars, restaurants and stores and feeling safe, but best of all that you can see same-sex couples walking around day and night.
