If you are visiting Chicago and not going to Navy pier Chicago then you are loosing the major attraction in Chicago, it is on the banks of Lake Michigan. It offers various water cruises ranging from sailing ship and has a largest Ferris wheel which can show you the sky view of Chicago skyline. It has something for everyone like shops, foods, the children museums, and the atrium which are really fun. I strongly recommend this place and I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

Not going to the navy pier but going to chicago is like going to a lake and not swiming!

My favorite thing i did in chicago!

Make sure you have a few hours to dedicate to it though!

I only got to see half but it was a really cool time!

Navy Pier used to be cool when you could fish on the pier, but now it’s generally just an overpriced trap for tourists and trashy teen dates. Most people I know don’t go unless they work there. The children’s museum is cool only if you have kids or are easily entertained. I have gone for the boat show which was fun, but besides that I can’t think of one reason to go back since most things you can find here are easier to access and cheaper in other parts of the city.

Great place for a family stroll by SantaClausIndiana

Hard to imagine a better place in the midwest to take a stroll with the family on a nice sunny day. Incredible place to take in the sights of Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago (which has a fantastic skyline). Plan your visit ahead of time as there are seasonal events/activities that you may wish to take in.
