Ha!

My grandmother lived here and I spent two weeks here helping to move her. If you visit, go to Po’ Folks restaurant. They have great food and are one of the few Po’ Folks still in business. At least… I hope they’re still in business.

my mothers family lives there, pretty much the whole extended family. its a small southern town. not much else.

If you happen to go to Dothan, visit Hunt’s for seafood. It was fresh and delicious! I was amazed at the southern drawls – whoa!! I experienced southern cooking for the first time there, as well. I ate black-eyed peas, turnip greens, and real banana pudding. Oh, and of course I tried boiled peanuts, which is what Dothan is famous for.

I have family down there, I loved it. Lots of humidity and hot..hot temperatures. If only Washington had the same, I’d be set. :)
