Simmer

Located in an upscale mall in Canton CT, this place has an innovative menu with lots of great choice. I went last night with 3 friends and we shared some apps, each had our own entree and shard a dessert for $60/each – ouch. It was cold enough to hang meat in the dining room which I did not enjoy but the couches were comfy and the wait staff was friendly and knowledgable. I had the Meatloaf Wellington (yup – puff pastry & mushroom duxelles with foie gras) with horseradish creme fraiche mashed and brocollini – excellent. And I almost got the cutest shoes at nearby Nine West so a good time was had by all.

My friends Mary-Anne & Debbie told me about this place. We are supposed to go next Wednesday!
