Cumberland

i drive through cumberland all the time, cause i live in southeastern ohio and my family lives in new york city. AND it is one of the quaintest, cutest, most scenically (is that a word?) breathtaking places i’ve ever seen. i always contemplate whether i could live there or not when i drive through, because it is SO beautiful but quite small.

Cumberland…the focal point of all my relatives on the East Coast. This is where we meet and congregate every Thanksgiving/Christmas/Easter at my great grandparent’s house for food, fun, and family. Some of the best days of my life have been spent here.

with ancestral ties going back to early 1750’s….
