Goose Creek

Within short distance of Charleston and the beach, how could Goose Creek not be good? I stayed at the econo lodge, which is pretty nice as far as cheap lodging goes.

They say that home is where your heart is. Goose Creek has been home to my family since July of 2000. We moved from Bluffton SC shortly after one of our daughters was diagnosed with a brain tumor and needed to find a place for her to get treatment. After examining our options we decided that MUSC in Charleston was the best move.

I am new to the 43places community and when I saw the negative comments from a handful of people I found myself wondering if those folks actually lived here or if they were just visiting and passing through. There are two things that make a community what it is. Those things are the leadership of that city and the people that live there. As for me and my family we have met with and associated with some of the nicest people that you would ever want to meet. Does that mean that we dont have our fair share of bad people, crime or social problems that plague any other city or town of this size? Of course not, anywhere you go where there are people you are going to find good and bad alike. All you can do is weigh the good with the bad and find a decent place in that town to live and be content.

You know the saying, do not judge the book by its cover so please do not judge our small community because of some of the negative comments that have been left here.
